Thanks guys

I just started a second play through today, and because of my experience with the first play through, I already have a poison sword, and a shield that delivers poison when you block an attack. Making quik w0#k of the low level guys in Siwa even though I'm also at a low level. Advancing fast though - only a couple of hours and I'm at level 6 just by goofing around.

Art Blade

oh wow, PZ, what happened? Actually, I'm really glad that you finally found a game that keeps you playing, even more than once, even in a row. Can't think of any game except FC2 that did that to you. :)

Trials of the Gods. More bosses to kill

I think you're correct, AB - playing much like with FC2, and using different approaches now that I have the experience of a play through. It is even more fun this time than the first time because I know what I'm doing.  O0

I still think I'll skip those stupid boss events. They bear no semblance to reality, just like boss missions in all games. Boss missions soured me on the Far Cry 3 and 4 games so that I did not even finish the games, and certainly had no desire to go in again. In the main part of this game there is only a single stupid boss mission that you must do in order to progress, and it was as annoying as hell to have to waste my time doing it. I was angry to the point where I would have quit the game if it was nothing but a series of boss missions.

About the closest I'll get to a boss mission are the elephant "bosses" in this game because at lest they are remotely reasonable in that I do not feel like I am in a drug induced haze.

There was a really annoying thing in the game yesterday - the new boss event was announced, and every time you went to the map, looked at a menu of any kind you had to click through that lame announcement.  :banghead: Worst part is that you could not turn it off, and you cannot selectively turn off the stupid icon on the map, which is always visible no matter where you are with a pointer indicating where they want you to go to start the event.

They did not do this with the first event, so I want to believe that the events are so lame that people are not doing them, so they need to heavily advertise them.

Art Blade

MS does that, too. I've got two DLC locations popping up on my map in FH3, and two entire menu entries for those DLC, and I don't even own them. :angry-new:

PZ

Sucks, their blatant attempt at commercialism  :banghead:

Here's a direct assault on an outpost because I was tired.

Does that mean you attack outposts only when you're tired? Is that some kind of ancient way resembling a modern day energy drink?

Oh and, nice vid.

PZ

 :D thanks AB

Direct attack when tired means that I don't want to spend the time to do my usual stealthy preferences  :gnehe:

Art Blade

I couldn't help it.. I just love to pretend to come to weird conclusions if the opportunity presents itself. :gnehe:

PZ

Yeah, I know  :gnehe:

I have little enough patience when feeling fine, but when I tire, even that little bit is gone, just like my mother.  :gnehe:

see.. tempting, but I won't go for this one. :-X

Art Blade

which reminds me of my mother. She used to shout, "you're twisting my words again!" wile in fact, I wasn't. Only she didn't realise what she'd said, exactly.
