I was wondering how to deal with that cluster and thought a grenade launcher would be great to have. Well, I wasn't too far from how you solved it :) Nicely done.

Thanks, the idea is to interrogate the leader, at the first sign of attack he spooks
and makes a run for it. The only way to stop him is eliminate his wheels and
that could get him killed, a grenade launcher might just kill him too
so I used a flashbang, before he or his men can recover
from the flash, they're dead and I was able to grab him.

it was more subtle than a grenade, that's for sure. Hell, it was more professional.

At first I thought "Watch out for the flamingos!" hehe, but that was pretty smooth taking them down like that, and shooting the car so he couldn't get away.

Thanks D_B, I always fly low over that lake to watch the flamingos.
I was lucky the ops went smooth, had blown it a time or two

ah, those flamingos.. when you flew right between them, I thought oh wow, that's going to end in a cloud of blood and pink feathers

The sniper rifle is the Desert Tech HTI BDC. basicly the HTI on steroids.
It will be unlocked when you reach Level 30 (Tier Mode), but you must activate Tier Mode.
The rifle will be at the Choza Padre Mine located in Eastern Montuyoc, east of the
lake in this clip.
Once it's been activated you can deactivate/activate it when ever you like.
The asault rifle is the LVOA-C Bad News, it has an under barrel GL and will be available
after completing the most difficult mission of all, getting the big man himself.

Thanks nex!

I started a new play through and am only at level 17 right now.  :undecided-new:

Take your time PZ, but then again, the levels go up quite quickly without doing much.
You shouldn't have a problem taking down convoys with the HTI, backed up with the NERD Assault for close ups

I've had problems stopping the convoys, even with the HTI - maybe I'm not at the upgrade level for the proper ammo or something. Was thinking of using mines to take out the front truck, or simply the grenade launcher rail attachment on my ACR.  That under barrel GL works great when truckload of reinforcements arrive, and it is easy to switch between the launcher and the regular assault rifle capabilities.

I've also had problems shooting down helicopters with the HTI - I can hit it, sometimes several times, but they keep on coming.

Art Blade

sounds like a martial form of skeet-shooting.

In these clips I used the HTI with long barrel and Tier Mode deactivated which means the stats should be the same
as the one you have PZ.
The escort vehicles are tough to take out with one shot, sometimes even the Desert Tech struggles to take one of these
escort vehicles out with one shot.
The Helo's can be taken out with one shot, that is if you can hit it, like the second one a fired at. When you hit it, it should come
down with one shot.
