Just by the way, it is not possible to stick a post up top of any topic. What we can do is "pinning" a topic so it stays on top of a list of topics within a board of the forum.

However, meanwhile all has been done, I just mentioned this to avoid confusion.

I activated the "Articles" feature, and both you gent's posts are now linked as "How to" articles on the home and forum pages

I figure we might as well have an easy way to reference guides members write
