I never tried shooting those two, but for some reason Mary May gets on my nerves, don't know why, so if it was anyone, it would be her.

If you kill enough civilians you eventually just die though. I kind of went on a rampage once after running over a couple that ran in front of my speeding truck and after that decided to have some fun. I still had plenty of health but just keeled over dead.
