By the time FC5 is out I should have my new card, and I should be able to use
Fraps (I hope) to record videos like we did in FC2

Fraps only works with DX11. Most likely, UBI*bleep* is probably releasing FC5 with both DX11/DX12. You can use Nvidia Shadowplay as an alternative
