Yeah, I received that email today as well - not sure if I will go into it - maybe, but the word "Arcade" kind of turned me off.

LowPolyOWG

Unfortunately, it is not open to everyone so I can't really say how it plays ;)

Yeah, I know what you guys say is true, I just don't see me getting a reasonable size card for under ZAR7000.00 soon.
The 1070 8 GB is available yes but for ZAR8500.00  :o :o

There is just no explainable reason for spending that amount of money
on a graphics card, and the way things are going getting a 1060
might take at least six months to a year if I'm lucky.

Better graphics/performance  Again, it's important that you don't bankrupt yourself either. I hope that you will get a new GPU, but you can of course turn down settings and avoid poor performance.

Yep, playtesting games and providing feedback is fun.

As it is, my GTX660 is just managing Wildlands, sometimes the screen freezes for a split second then goes on.
I doubt it if it will run FC5, and I'm not going to overclock my card attempting to run the game better.
All these clever techies bragging about overclocking won't admit on how quickly it shortens the
lifespan of a card.

Think your GPU is slowly dying  :o I think the 660 is minimum for this game, but with a dying GPU: Not something I would play with.

Nex, just order the 1060 and overclock your 660. When it dies on you without an immediate replacement, you just faint mental overload and start interfering the household. If the misses asks what's wrong, you explain her what miserable situation you're in. She'll let you get that 1070 right away.

As long his rig doesn't croak, that should w0#k

The GPU's fine, just some areas in the game with a lot of detail

The problem with what you say BinnZ, I don't know if my supplier will
ever get the 1060 6GB. I can get the MSI card elsewhere for the same price
as the 1070 with my supplier, and I'm not prepared to go that high for a GPU.
These guys know the 1060 cards are scarce, so they inflate the price

If the 1060 ends up for the same price as the 1070... Is it even worth the wait? :huh-new: Don't worry, you could just buy FC5 and not install it for awhile ;)

I'm not forking out over 7000.00 just for a new GPU, that money will go far
towards the alterations on our house I'm busy with.

LowPolyOWG

Well, that's understandable  ;) Get your house done, then reward yourself with a new GPU when the job's done
