Cases went from being something that you tolerated or ignored to something more easy to use and with features meant to show them off.

Apparently, both the White and Black edition were at a 13% discount (€129) at Caseking.de, so saved a few euros. Although, I chose UPS Express delivery regardless, bumping the price to €160. Gonna pay €40 in customs fee aswell. Totally worth it, it's a very versatile case.

That's sweet, being able to flip it around like that. Since I'd like a case that is reversed like that to fit my desk better, like my old case was.

Problem is, I could have swapped the new stuff into my old case I just didn't have the ambition to do it, maybe in a few years when I order a new computer I'll remember to give more than a passing thought to the case lol.

Linus does a build on a live stream in the new case, turning it around per audience request just to make it harder. There's a lot of talking about other things while building it, but it does take a while. The video is 4.5 hours so I haven't watched the whole thing yet lol.

It is a nice case, but be sure to have a whole day if you're going to be changing the config any lol

As much I feel mixed about it, I ordered an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra for €1800 today :-X i tried to get it from Proshop for the more "reasonable" price of €1400, but bots snagged it all up  :banghead: Had to use Multicom. On the other side, better get something to replace my RX 580, which in no way are capable of handling ultrawide 1440p @ 165 Hz.

Both of them got a shipment of EVGA GPUs the day before christmas.

Tomorrow, Novideo and AMD will host their CES conferences around 8 AM Pacific.

Dang that's rough. The scalpers in the market are just out of hand. When I built my system the RTX 3080 upgrade was $1500 but it was worth it really. The performance you get out of these cards is just amazing. "Low end" games like GTA5 and Fallout 76 don't even make the fans spin fast. No Man's Sky ramps them up a bit but still not terribly, but Cyberpunk really makes them crank and it puts out heat something wicked. That's at 1440p with all settings on "ultra" or "psycho" and getting 60-70 fps.
