Interesting development, I'll be curious to see where it leads. I'm wondering how it would taste, though. Algae usually tastes pretty terrible when you encounter it in water. Maybe they have a way to neutralize the algae flavour of the skin.

Great idea, it's good to see people trying to come up with viable alternatives. I can already see kids chucking them at each other in place of water-bombs though (which probably says something about my childhood )

How disturbing. Micro-plastics are plentiful as well. One of these days we will increasingly kill the life in the oceans due to plastics.
