You'd think the bartender would start to wonder after a while, so many customers dying right there after drinking something.

he works right across the fugu bar. That raw fish thing. Including fugu sashimi, that dish with a dash of the fish poison for thrills, if done correctly. And there were quite a few deaths, too.. it's a common thing in that clinic (the whole facility is a clinic) and the morgue is almost bursting

Hitman never took itself too seriously. A lot of sometimes black humour is involved which is one of the reasons why I love this game so much. Also, like in FC2 the mercs, the conversations between NPCs and lines directed at the player are quite often hilarious. Like in the one vid I made in Miami, see my post about the race track massacre.. race cars blowing up and flying into walls and the race commentator goes, "let's hope no one got hurt." Or he said something about "the audience," which, at that point in time, had already fled the place in utter horror and panic

I like it when a bit of humor is injected into a game, like the comment in FC2 about Ned shooting himself in the foot, and many others.

Just think about it for a moment: in Hitman 2, you've got a fish as a melee weapon in your arsenal.

there are also really creative players at w0#k. Take a look at this short but brilliant video from another player. He used a secret, an Easter egg I didn't even know existed, and made a bomb out of it in the same map I killed the "sake-drinker" with poison, only he did it with that bomb. Just as a reminder: failing this mission by getting killed (by guards, mostly) will terminate the mission for good, no replay option. And he created a spectacle.. lol, crazy, and respect

That seems so random, but must have been something the devs thought could be possible, but really, how would you find that stuff without seeing it first on the internet?

I was close to discovering it but I didn't do it in the same session. I did manipulate the mainframe and I beat the guards at push-ups. Had I done all of that in the right order in the same session, it would have happened. No idea who comes up with stuff like that, I usually don't. I just play the missions and enjoy myself but I don't dissect the game.

I knew that the gas lamp, if previously sabotaged with a wrench, would kill the target. I didn't want to use a wrench. I'm neither a plumber nor a mechanic. I wanted to use a sniper rifle as if it was a "remote control" and at that time I wanted to be as far off as possible, preferably right next to the exit. So I wanted it to be like an approach far away from guards, a shot with the sniper and retreat to the boat, then a bang, target down, exit mission.

What you watched instead, was me preparing for an approach, my music playing in the background, ah yes, this approach seemed OK to me, no risky business.. but I didn't know the routine of those guards. Which is what took me some time, making mental notes, and then fire at the lamp. I doubted it would w0#k, might have to use the wrench after all, but who knows, it might just as well.. BOOM! TARGET ELIMINATED! ACCIDENT KILL! UNNOTICED KILL! like what the F is going on here, what?!

So I had to find a way out, no subtle ending or anything, just plain and simple: get out of here. And done, it was even with my original suit (no disguises) and I was never spotted or anything (accident kill) so I even ranked Silent Assassin Suit Only
