Me neither, I can do without that complication, I know way back when I got 50K total channel views Youtube sent me an email practically begging me to monetize. I still can, even though I don't have the 1,000 subscribers that is required for new channels, I'm grandfathered in on the old rules.

they're crazy. Recently they updated some of their rules stating that they can shut down a channel if it isn't "profitable." Some think it may have to do with cases they can't apply other rules to like hate speeches and all that. But still..

another old challenge revived for the new game. Had to create 3 contracts, I hate it. I prefer to use story missions.

Is creating contracts hard to do, or just tedious? Seems you could "stack the deck" in your favor to make them easy so you can complete challenges.

funny you should ask because I still got a recording of the creation process. Uploading it as "unlisted" for you. :)

What makes it difficult in this case is the distance between you and the target. I need to walk there, pick one, walk to the bell tower and check. The target might have started to wander around or other potential witnesses may have arrived by chance.. the timing of the kill will be totally different from when you actually play the contract.. so yes, you can stack the deck, but it might backfire. Here, enjoy :)

This is the contract for the "part 1" video.

and another massive challenge, bigger than before. I managed to get everything done with just one contract, albeit it is impossible to do everything in one go. So.. another challenge with three parts. However, it was fun :)

So nice until just moments before I finished the first part some NPC screwed it up regarding Silent Assassin but the challenges were complete, anyway. lol

that went nicely..

..as did this one.

a heavily edited video. From 60+ minutes down to this, just the essentials. Still a lot.. ;)

I'll have to watch those later when I have more time, even the edited one lol. But the editing mode was interesting, I thought you'd have some kind of free camera to fly around and pick targets, set options, etc, not have to follow all the normal game rules while editing, that's a bit tedious.

take your time watching those vids, they won't run away :) I'm so happy that I've got at least ONE person (apart from me) who watches them all from start to end. YOU! O0

And yes, the editor is different from what one expects. I think they did that to ensure that those custom contracts can actually be played successfully. Essentially you play the contract while still editing.

The craziest comment I got recently (for the sniper part 3) was this:

"Are you a hacker that suit 😨"

SERIOUSLY?! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Which is why I decided to edit and upload the last vid which shows how to unlock "that suit" ::) :gnehe:

I'll never understand what people out there on YouTube are doing. The last vid is 13:45 minutes long but short compared to the original 60+ minutes. I checked the stats and decided to adjust (meaning not counting you and me) the view time per viewer. So, after removing your and my watch time and dividing it by the remaining viewer count, 40 viewers watched on average 2:07 minutes. There may be some with like 5 minutes and some with 20 seconds but overall, 2 minutes of a 14 minutes vid. I compared that to another vid of 11:13 duration which 5,819 people watched for 2:56 on average.

That goes all across my videos. When I check my channel's lifelong stats, it shows 45,788 views with 1,401 hours watch time so indeed, 1:50 minutes per viewer on average. The funny thing is, make a vid of 1 minute and STILL they won't watch 1 minute but less. As if their life depended on NOT watching videos start to end. :D

Most of my videos are kind of guides, tutorials or some such so you'd expect people to watch them start to end to see how it's done but nope, they skip through and miss out on stuff and then of course I get a few comments that they didn't manage. I then either quote my vid description to them or explain specifics to them.

However, right now 45,926 viewers were interested in my content. Even if that meant only for a few seconds. :gnehe:

what is funny about this is that it keeps drawing so many views like few other videos
