And not too long ago, they found his skeleton. In a car park under the tarmac, really Lots of testing to prove it really was the king, even a body double with the same massive scoliosis to test his ability to fight with armour and all that, it is one of the most remarkable documentaries I've ever watched.

Here's the playlist which I need to put in "code" mode so you can actually get the list, otherwise only the first vid will show here which I'll add, too, so you can just start with the first vid already. I'll add another playlist below it that is equally impressive but with focus on the bloody history of medieval England, which includes the story of Richard III at the end of the documentary as he was the last king who died in battle and the last king of the Plantagenet dynasty, it's all about the war of the roses and quite interesting, I think it's well worth watching.

Thanks Art I've been meaning to watch that first one about Richard III for about a week or so since it appeared in my "Recommended" list, funny that you linked to it here yourself. Just watched it, really interesting programme. Man, they lucked out with that first dig...

Seems that famous portrait of him was pretty accurate, going by what the 3D modeller came up with.

I'll get around to the other videos you linked to soon. I love history
