Opera is a good browser choice for many reasons, among them:

  • Built-in free VPN
  • Compressing data through the Opera servers thereby increasing browsing speed.
Chrome is a good browser, but with Google increasingly bloating their software, it often bogs down. If you like using Chrome, and are using their addons, but might consider switching to Opera, you can install this Opera extension and then navigate to the Chrome store to install Chrome addons.

One caveat: like anything Google, it will allow the company to track your data.

I' Still using Firefox. But auto-VPN sounds good to me actually. I am more and more concerned about who can track me, without me even knowing. Is it really that simple?

yes and no. You can't track me just like that but anyone hosting a site can, with the respective know-how, implement tracking. How simple it is? Keywords "personalised advertisements" ring a bell? Which is how all the major players make their money.

My only gripe with Opera, it's sooooooo darn slowwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!   :banghead:
