Far Cry 2 modding

Modding the Far Cry series has become a bit easier as was reported by LP.

I'm currently using a Surface laptop, and just for kicks, I installed FC2. It actually works quite well - defaulted to ultra settings for everything. I'm still using the patch.dat/.fat I made years ago, and everything works well. I'm now enjoying playing for a mission or two between computer tasks.

Looking forward to see what others might come up with for FC2.

Just for kicks I uploaded my old patch files into this sites download area. My game was somehow corrupted and when I went to the old site many files could not be found. However, I found a bunch of downloads in a backup folder so I was able to recover most of the stuff (including my mod) and was able to restore my game to proper working order.
