Art suggested I could create a separate topic for RDR2 SP modding. With scripthook being updated, I decided to start the game :) OpenIV haven't been updated with file editing possibilities, due to new RPF8 format. Wonder if the GTA V weapons will be ported over one day

Rich cowboy. Still, not enough for that dream they wanted to pursue :laughsm:

Spawned a ton of Maxim MGs and started thinning out the local claylawmen population :gnehe:

How to get started:

Nexus Mods for RDR2. Plenty of funny stuff to download from here

AB's Scripthook for running mods. Needs to be updated after every update, otherwise game will crash. Requires a keyboard with NUMPAD for proper functionality. NOTE: Some mods on Nexus may come with a modified version of the hook, that might have different requirements regarding mod compatibility.

OpenIV for file editing. For now, reading the RDR2 files is the only possibility. Can be used for modding GTA V's singleplayer too.

Very good, I'll likely use it when I'm done with the first playthrough :)

+1  :)

Nice, I see someone doesn't care about their bounty level, lol

Very cool  I might get RDR2 for the PC just because of the ability to mod the game (as long as I don't need to download the game files)

Depends on what mods you want to use. Script mods are just copy-paste some .asi/.dlls to the main game install, while mods require you download the files, unpack and repack them into the correct archives.

Who needs to worry about that when I can use clear bounty/never wanted hacks  :laughsm:
