I don't even know how many generations away my PC is from the one I played FC2 on but it's likely around 5.

that's not FC2 as in Far Cry 2. That's FC2 as in Fubar Clusterfrack 2.

I went over to the old FC2 threads in the Archives and got lost for a couple hours perusing some of the old topic conversations.

I wasn't able to find the exact thread where I posted a bit of extreme weirdness about the changes that occur to the Assault Truck (AT - ah the old abbreviations  :bigsmile:) parked at the Safe House near by directly West of the mission where you and a Best Buddy (BB) blow up the Rail Bridge to smash the barge below.  I think completing that mission bumps your intimidation status up as well as adding weaponry available for some of the ATs.

During earlier explorations it's fine if you use this AT but the AT needs to be left completely alone right before doing the Bridge mission.

Once you've blown up the bridge and fought off the merc attack go back to the Safe House and examine the barrel of the AT's weapon with a scoped rifle.  You will see that there is now a machine gun barrel extending out of a newly equipped grenade launcher barrel.

I would highly suggest you create a Save Point before touching the AT.  O0

By mounting up in the AT you will embark on the closest thing I can describe as an authentic FO2 African Space Mission.

That previously mentioned save point will allow you to reload and take the ride as many times as amuse you and every launch is different in the height and direction of where you get tossed.  :anigrin:

Actually it's two ATs.  :)

A new one with the grenade launcher has been superimposed over the previous one at that location.  When disturbed the two ATs rip apart violently potentially creating an interesting thrill ride.  :D

Oh, I see. The game spawns in another AT on top of the other, causing a physics glitch O0
