We like to braise tough cuts of meat to make them butter tender, and this was no exception. We visited the Korean market and picked up these wonderful pork hocks sliced into 1.5 cm thick slices. Into a pan with some ham broth they go.

Adding a few vegetables gives the pork a bit of a fresh flavor.

Once done (about 3 hours total), the pork was pulled - we could literally squeeze the pork in our hands and the meat simply fell apart.

Some liked it with a bot of BBQ sauce

It was a most delicious dinner, which we enjoyed it quite a bit. Perfect for a cold day with bad weather outside, in front of the fire, and a fine glass of wine.

Thanks AB!  Nothing like home cooking on a bad weather day.

Looks good PZ, I love pork   ;D

Me too nex. Here pork and chicken are the only meats that are still priced pre-Covid times. Beef is way too high - for example, the tri-tip I usually purchase for less than $3/lb is now close to $7/lb
