Microsoft had their Xbox Series X reveal on the 23rd. Several games were revealed, some cross-generation titles, while others are Series X only. Here's a side mission from Halo Infinite. Looks like 343i pulled a Destiny/Far Cry/Just Cause with this Halo.

Many viewers called the graphics current generation-ish. Typical for cross-gen titles, when you develop for two types of hardware.

Crash ship. Jump out. Shoot things. Got it.

hmm, I couldn't find that information? unless "battle pass" is a cover-up for micro transactions?

Battle passes usually costs $10, with the option to pay between $1-$100 if you can't bother leveling it up. Kinda like the outlaw pass in RDR Online, either grind or spend gold bars to skip tiers. E.g 10 gold bars for 10 tiers skipped. Then you have cosmetic bundles for your character, like in Destiny 2.

Speaking of Infinite, they delayed the game to 2021 over the lackluster graphics and people going crazy over the demo being "weeks" old and not from January. The rumor about Jabuary was debunked. People who are unfamiliar with development doesn't seem to realize that demos made for presentations are usually branched from the main code branch. Even CoD4 had unfinished campaign maps 3-4 months before release and the CoD Black Ops 3  multiplayer beta had unfinished weapons. Which people managed to mod in and play with.

COVID have had an impact on development, with people working from home and productivity possibly going down among workers
