Yeah I'll grab a screen of it tonight. The mine shaft it was in I'm almost positive has been added semi-recently to the game, I'm pretty certain I tried to get in there before and it was either closed off entirely or only a few feet deep before there was a cave in, I don't think I'd miss the fact that there was an entire mine shaft in there to explore. The only reason I found it was because of a random game that popped up. It was one where there were 120 or so checkpoints around the map and the players who find them get money and points. Of course, there are too many for one person to find in the time allowed so if other players find some too, then each player gets more money I think, and if all of them are found, then there's another bonus on top of that. Of course, I was the only one finding them so I didn't get near to finding them all, but the first two that I was closest to were in the mine shaft, and after wasting time exploring on the hillside above, because on the map the markers don't show what elevation they are at, after a few minutes, I went down the hill, found the mine entrance and went inside.

Funny. The game you are describing is a so called free mode event. I did it a lot of times and it can pop up in literally any place. In fact, it's either situated in the North-East, the North-West, the South-East or the South-West. So... where was that again? :P
It is true that you get an additional bonus if all of them are found, something you need more than one player for, that's true. I don't know how R* ranked the checkpoints, but some give more money than others. Maybe the difficulty of the actual location. There's two varieties, one in the air and one on the ground. I like the first most, since I like flying through them with preferably a helicopter.
If it is the mine shaft I am thinking about, it's located somewhere in the Vinewood hills. The entrance is situated on a dirt track with a lot of corners. A typical short cut to get from a higher to a lower road. It has been there since the beginning. I only found out about it after a while when someone pointed it out to me. Didn't know there were these checkpoints inside. I never was too mad about the ground checkpoints, maybe that's why I never found the ones located in the shaft.
But of course I might be totally mistaken. However, there was one of the action figures located just at the entrance of the mine shaft, so it seems the same place we're talking about.
For me it was also funny to hunt them all, since I also found some spots I had never been. Like the inside of a house in the Vinewood area, close to eclipse, I didn't know was accessible. And a little cave below the Cult village in the North.  :)

The mine shaft is actually a funny place. 90% of the players don't know of its existence, which makes it funny to use in another free mode event, called "Hot Product" or something similar. You have to get hold of it and keep it the longest until a timer runs out. If you are inside the mine shaft almost no one can find you. They search the upper hill side and start typing "Cheater!" when you're apparently not there. And íf they get inside in time, there's of course a perfect way of keeping them away, by using proximities or just blast through the tunnel at the right time with a rocket ;)

I think the cave was a part of the Revolver quest/maybe some collectible side mission in the story mode.

Yeah that's what it was, a free mode thing, since I only got to about five of the checkpoints, I don't know if any were in the air or not. The ones I saw were on the ground, or under it as the case may be. Strange I just never saw that mine shaft was something you could enter. The only other time I recall going there was in the single player game and I'm pretty sure you couldn't get inside, or I was blind and never noticed it.

Anyway, I got all the action figures and got the costume:

So there's that, though I won't be keeping it on much, as it makes noise when you walk that's a bit annoying.

Here's the cavalry saber you find in the mine shaft, there's several tunnels and it's down towards the end of one.

Best angle I could get on it, and this is what it looks like when you're holding it first person.

It was originally released back in Summer 2014 as a part of the Hipster update

#863
There have been released some new super cars with extreme nice modding options and blistering performance. They are now #1 (Emerus) and #2 (Krieger) in the class (raceable cars). And the top speed is quite good too. Not a 811 of course, but still in the top 7 or something.
And the second one, the Krieger, is the first Benefactor super car ever released in the game. I got some screenshots to wet your appetite  8)

They cost fortunes though. The Emerus is over 2.7 million and the Krieger over 2.8 million. Stock, without upgrades and modifications :P

Very nice, here I am thinking I'm lucky to get $30K from the casino wheel..... still a long way from having that kind of money, even with modders dropping cash bags lol.

Thanks Art! :)

Yes D_B, money making is evident if you want these types of cars. Did you ever get busy on import-export cargo? It helps a lot. Joining heists too. And it can be fun ;)

to me, it used to be just as much fun as recuperating from a nasty stomach flu. :gnehe:

Dweller_Benthos

Not really, mostly because I have no idea how all that stuff works. And I don't own any of the facilities needed to start a lot of those things. And I ignore everything that happens on the cell phone. Mostly because I don't trust anything anyone else is doing in public sessions. If anyone invites me to anything I ignore it, yes, I have trust issues.

Here's a weird thing, I was on the way back from the casino and saw this car being driven by an NPC so I stole it from him. What's with the weird 69 floating above the roof? Is that normal or something hacked in?
