Hmm, not-so-subtle graffiti there :-\

I quite miss the game world of GTA V. I still think it's the most impressive such that I've ever seen, and an exploring gamer's dream. But I'd have to play through the single player game all over again to get to the post-game, free-roam part that I enjoyed. I should have bought it through Steam instead of a shop, because if I installed it again now, I'd have to sit through a zillion updates... It would take days. Even the original, unadorned base game took hours to install.

Pity, because I miss barrelling down the freeway at top speed on a $p@rts bike and seeing how long I survive :gnehe: Really got the juices flowing, that.

...And the golf. I must be the only GTA V player on Earth who liked the golf game. I came two stokes within making par once.

Wish I could do that for real... I'd probably get thrown off the course though if I swore as much as Michael did when he (I) screwed up a shot.

Art Blade

oh. Golf. I was actually enjoying it as a pastime shared with Michael when playing as Franklin because of the banter between those two :) I also occasionally played it with friends online but not so much.

BinnZ

I also enjoyed golf a lot. Also online. Somehow online it works a tad different. I remember Art and me trying it out once in the beginning days , and we couldn't get it right, while still doing the same *bleep* as in single player. It was still a lot of fun though

yes, I remember that, too. :) We played golf with a lot of friends but it never lasted long.

I have never played the golf game in GTA, either single player or online. I know where the golf course is, sure, but I never bothered to try playing it. I've done the darts game a couple times when it was part of the daily objectives, and I'm only moderately terrible at that, mostly because I don't do the math before hand and always end up having to get a weird combination at the end in order to even out. Plus I keep hitting the triple score space instead of the double score space.

I did buy a penthouse at the casino yesterday as they had them 40% off so a decent one cost just a bit over 1.2 million. That left me with a couple million yet in the bank so I figured why not. Plus I can spawn there and it will be a short trip to get to spin the wheel instead of driving across town.

Rockstar is really competing with itself now, given that they just released RDR2 through various online game services.

Wow! :o

So much to do, so little time!!!

I guess so, and I haven't even done most of the normal casino missions.

Well, you don't miss much. Some are fun to do, but also frustrating because of too powerful enemy fire. And it wasn't worth going through them again. However, completing the casino story is sort of nice before you start this heist, because it's a reaction to what has happened in the original casino missions. The gameplay sounds really promising from what I read in the advertisement. Lots of choices on the job, more sensible preparations and cool twists and turns and replay value. Really curious tbh O0

I don't have any interest in the online part of the game, mostly because I suck at gaming, but I did like the graphics and game play in the SP version. This might be another game I'll revisit one of these days.

I am actually very, VERY worried about this update. So far, any heist update came with achievements. And if I leant one thing about Rockstar's achievements, is that SOMETIMES they can be a real payne in the arse ::)

R* and achievements.. apart from GTAV, yes, but also RDR2 springs to mind. I know about a few that are absolute madness. PLUS, they are not "retroactive," meaning if you do the same thing before unlocking the challenge, it won't count and you'll have to do it again. Boomer design decisions, all over the place. So 1980s what's going on there at times. I am absolutely NOT interested in hunting achievements in either game.
