Nice photos PZ, thanks, and thanks to the son for sharing them. I love seeing all the old and forgotten places,
just a pity we don't get around visiting them.

Pretty cool, I see the underground workings are still accessible, the way things usually go these get blocked off or even filled in. Looks like a fun trip.

I too love to see the old/forgotten places. In fact, there are television series dedicated to abandoned places.

Many of the places in my area are now boarded up o have been cemented over these days because people have died in the old mines. Seems like things are different in the deserts of the southwest - there are thousands of small workings that I guess people are not too worried about, but probably should be.
