Mafia: Definitive Edition

I actually purchased the trilogy of definitive editions, Mafia, Mafia II , and Mafia III because it was $19.95 for the three definitive edition remakes, plus the original old Mafia. All DLC was automatically included.

Started playing the first Mafia and am enjoying it. The only thing that worried me was a race a short way into the game that lots of people complain about. I tried a couple of times unsuccessfully. Fortunately a mod on the Nexus is a save file just beyond the race so I could continue.

Although linear, I like the 1930's setting, and the graphics have been hugely improved over the first Mafia. Lots of detailed signage reminding me of a town I like to visit: Butte, Montana. The definitive edition remake reminds me of strolling through that old mining town.

Right now I'm jumping from game to game like an excited kid in a candy store
