Happy New Year all and your loved ones.
fragger, I love the summer where we live with very little humidity, our winter on the other hand is very very dry and cold. The temp seldom reaches -2° C,
which is not very cold compared to about -10° C in areas where it snows. What makes it so cold here is the wind bringing the cold air from where it's snowing, and believe me that wind cuts through all the layers of clothing you're wearing.
I would like to spend at least one Christmas holiday in an area where it really snows, like where PZ is

I grew up as a youngster in Vermont and moved to San Diego as a teenager. The weather is really nice in SD, but a bit monotonous so I longed for four seasons so when an opportunity to move up here came up I was delighted. Haven't missed SoCal at all. I love the XMas and New Year's holidays with snow.
