The Rev-8 looks cool - reminds me a bit of the vehicle physics in BeamNG.Drive

It is bouncy for sure, though I have yet to use it on a world with "normal" gravity. On low gravity worlds, the jump jets and booster jets can get you flying pretty good. I'm still not too fond of the control scheme they picked, it's a bit weird. neither controller or mouse & keyboard w0#k quite like you'd expect. I've sort of got the hang of it on keyboard, with a change to the control style it uses in the options.

Yeah, we'll see how it goes, the way I play, main quests like that I usually leave until last thing lol. I still haven't even completed the first mission on the original main quest hehe.

lol, that's the way I have played many games in the past! Sometimes still do, depending on how long I want to draw out the current game experience.

Yeah I did do some of that first mission this weekend on stream because I was clearing out my missions list, getting all the old ones done. I'm having an issue where it's not showing me some missions after playing for a bit, unless I reload the game, so I thought clearing some old ones off might help. Not sure if it did yet or not. But it is getting to the point where I need to progress the story a bit as the main character you meet on that first mission is from the faction that the new DLC centers on and I wanted her along for any context. She has a long personal story as well, so might as well get on with that too.

That problem seeing the mission you are on does seem to be some kind of glitch. Thankfully the game restart causes it to reappear  :thumbsup:

Shattered Space DLC downloaded yesterday and the script extender mod updated pretty fast but a couple of my mods that depend on the script extender have not yet, so I'm waiting on that. They aren't mods that are critical, but they are important enough to wait. Hopefully they get updated by this weekend, if not, I'll just have to play without them. They are the driving mods that making the buggy easier to handle so I can do without them if need be.

It does seem like we are always waiting for mods and versions to become compatible. It is bad enough in ATS for me that I did not allow v1.50 to update to v1.51 because of mod compatibility issues. Fortunately the mod developers have already completed the updates on the main items, but others lag so it is best to stay with the earlier version of the game. Thankfully I am still able to choose an older version even though I'm using Steam.

You're lucky that the mods you deem essential are already updated  :thumbsup:

Yeah the other mods updated yesterday so it's all good. Only two needed updating, the others didn't need to update apparently. But now I think I'm going to add a couple more now that the big update it out.

Yeah there's a few other mods I want to install now but I'm waiting on them to be updated, in the meantime, I haven't started that DLC yet, I want to finish the story line for the character that is most impacted by it, then I'll head into it. There's another main storyline I want to finish as well before heading out on the final missions.

Same here waiting for mod updates, but in ATS and ETS2. The mod creators sure are updating quickly - all of the main map mods have already been updates, and most of the smaller additions as well.

The legendary trade mod got updated yesterday so I loaded that and tried it, pretty cool, you can strip off the mods from an item, get the mods and the item back plus some extra crafting ingredients, then put the mods on another item as you see fit. Works very well, the only issue I have with it and it may be that this is the way the game is made and not due to the mod, I'll have to ask the author, is that each item has three mod slots so each item can have up to three legendary effects added. Only problem is it seems that each mod slot will only accept certain mods. So I wanted to put the instigating effect on my sniper rifle which doubles damage to a full health target, but that only goes in the first mod slot and that already had something taking up that slot. So that was a bit of a bummer, but in the end I modded most of my gear so now I have the best space suit with the best armor that also has the effects added I want that I stripped off other suits. Same with guns, added a weight reduction perk to a couple of them, and the instigating perk which doubles their damage to make some really powerful and useful weapons lol.
