Sorry to hear about your Steam client issues, fragger. Like D_B said, it might be old school programming throwing errors because it is not installed on the "C" drive. I have my client on the boot SSD and have not encountered any issues. On a slightly different note, I'm using an uninstaller called Revo (https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/) which is really good. It not only uninstalls the program, it takes care of all the leftover files and registry entries that the worthless Windows uninstaller leaves behind. It is the only easy way I've encountered to truly get completely rid of an application.

Some time ago I got a 4tb portable SSD on which I have all my games, which are the largest space hogs I have installed. So far it has worked flawlessly.
