Exodus is a story-driven first-person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror. Inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus is the first game to be set completely after the books rather than during or between them. I never got into the Metro games, mostly because it looks like that the ammo is super scarce and from that video of the guy having to pump his gun back up before it can fire again, it just seems like a chore.

Indeed. I couldn't resist so I purchased the game and started in what they call "Reader" mode which reportedly has plenty of ammo. I briefly tried it our and it is not too bad. I'll probably get a trainer so I can go through quickly to get an idea how it looks and works.
