This is how I live. I have one room and a neighbour lives in the other. I don't have my own kitchen, it's in a different room and it is shared with the others from our floor. Me and my neighbour share the bathroom and a small fridge.

And well, that's how you start. I started with a room, too, but in a shared flat (someone else lived there, too) so the two of us had a room each and shared the rest.

I think we all started there - I can't say it was all that bad. Much less to clean and take care of.

I snagged it from our student council service But I pay 3770 NOK (400 EURO/480 USD) per month. Electricity/Internet included

That's not too bad - you could easily pay double in the U.S.

Hmmm... I like the layout of the left side bedroom a bit better than the right side one. You don't have to walk between the bed and desk to get into the room. Though I'd move the end table and swap it with the extra chair.
