You'd love it D_B  The other southwest parks are all great with each having their beauty points. Among those that are my favorites in addition to Arches are Mesa Verde (I'm going to post a few images soon), Grand Canyon, Zion, Canyon de Chelly, Wupatki, Dinosaur, and may others. In fact, the southwest areas are my favorite in the world.

I moved from the midwest to San Diego in the early 1970s, and passed through Saguaro as dawn was breaking - it was such a spectacular sight that I fell in love with the desert at that moment, and have always visited since.
