Nvidia teases next-gen Turing/RTX GPUs

What's new? Real time ray tracing. Rather than using rasterization, scenes will now use real time lighting calculation to bring higher visual fidelity. Will this be ready/available for next-gen consoles? Maybe, or maybe not. Microsoft are looking for an API implementation, while Nvidia is doing both hardware/API enabled ray tracing.

The reveal date is 20th August during Gamescom in Cologne.

For now, Quadro GPUs are announced. 2000-10000 USD, depending on model

Also, the Quadro GPUs are capable of displaying 8K content.
