The mining boom/PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds can be blamed for the lack of stock.

The latter is due to the PUBG developers incompetence into programming a proper engine to support those large maps/huge player count while having great performance. With Nvidia using Game Gimpworks into UE4, there's a reason for Nvidia's high-end GPUs being sold out. For AMD, it's a case of their superiority in computing that they are so popular with miners.

Sadly, there are some dedicated miners written for Nvidia GPUs now and Pascal improved compute performance compared to Maxwell (GTX 900)

I would have had a new card around November already.
The Acc Exec assigned to my account at the suppliers was supposed to do a
back order on a card for me when I spoke to him in September and he never did   
so a few days ago I jumped all over the Sales Manager, he immediately assigned
another Acc Exec to my account and also assured me that I will get a card when
the next shipment arrives in about a month from now.

It's from the in-game store. Costs 1500 credits and it's only available for campaign use

now that's a proper sniper rifle.

The game already got two .50 cals, the HTI and the Serbu BFG .50 (Fallen Ghosts DLC). I wouldn't mind if they brought in a Barrett M107, the lack of a semi-auto .50 cal in the normal campaign is a bit annoying

I just watched a video clip on youtube, a guy purchased the Tac 50 just to discover the only difference between this rifle and the HTI is that this one has a marginally better penetration than the HTI

I did it, as I have some left-over credits sitting in my inventory. Now, the purchase of the weapon doesn't affect the PvP (thank God for that)

The guy in the video only compared the Tac 50 with the HTI and not with the Desert Tech HTI BDC,
and as far as I know there's a huge difference between the two HTI's.
