Looks like it's called Far Cry: New Dawn. Suggested MSRP 39.99 USD. And probably another 29.99$ for a season pass and "mandatory" micromegatransactions

Watched someone playing it, it takes some AC Origins/Odyssey approach to enemies now. You need a different type of weapon to be able to kill NPCs now. I remember PZ wanting something like that. However, I think it's going to be a lot of grinding involved to unlock weapons. I can imagine FC6 to go crazy with RPG elements, an Ubisofty 1st person looter shooter a la The Division.

I only stick to the Far Cry side of Ubified products. To each of their own as they say.

I guess I am one of the few UBI*bleep* fans here at OWG. I like the simplistic shooter games like the FC and AC series, and am looking forward to the next iteration of the FC series. This one kind of reminds me of a blend between Fallout and Far Cry in the environment of devastation.

Fallout 4 has pretty much spoiled me for the FC franchise. Unless UBI*bleep* does something spectacularly outstanding and refreshingly innovative with the series, my FC days are over.

This looks like Ubisoft trying to jump on the post-nuclear apocalyptic bandwagon. Far Cry does Fallout. Maybe it should be called "Far Out"
