It just made me real mad and I finished everybody left on site by hand... slowly and painfully  ;D ;D
When I read this post it was also the first time I saw JRD's new avatar - somehow fitting  ;D  :-X

And my nick name on my playthrough is "Gomer Pyle"  ;D

I had to find out what Gomer Pyle is first (cheers, youtube) to be able to understand. If you play as him, you'll have a lot more enemies to deal with than the rest of us  ;D (thanks for the tip though, need to watch more of him :-X )

Hehehe! I remember that guy (JRD's avatar). If I'm not mistaken, he had that look on his face when he went ga-ga and shot the sarge.

:) I remember Gomer Pyle. "Well, goh-ohl-ee, Sarg'nt Carter... Thaink yer thaink yer thaink yer!" ;D

Gomer Pyle was a comediant who played a goofy soldier in a TV show long, long ago.
In Stanley Kubrik's "Born to kill/Full Metal Jacket" (in my top 5 best movies ever) the drill sargeant nicks this chubby soldier as Gomer Pyle due to his inadequacy to go through the training.
He flips, takes his rifle, in one marvelous scene that ends the first half of the movie... shots the sargeant and kills himself!
He is the image of how crazy war can be even for those who didn't step into it yet!

A disturbing face indeed  ;)

I knew I recognized that snapshot, but I just couldn't place it!  Great movies indeed.  :-X

As an aside, I was working in a gas station when I was a kid and one of my fellow employees was Kyle (I don't recall his last name) and I gave him the nickname "Gomer Kyle".  Another was Jeff who received the nick "Jeffro Bodine" (everyone just ended up calling him "Bodine" after that)  I have a bad habit of giving people funny names ;D

Vincent D'Onofrio is a great actor, and he played more than once a character who kind of lost it  :)
