HERE is the link to the topic about TDU2 (vanilla game)

DLC store (PC) : http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/store

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, I am indeed talking about DLC  :-() (A friend of mine was so nice and provided me with redeem codes for Atari points he bought for me so I really purchased downloadable content on my own).

There are a couple of DLC for TDU2 available, mostly cars:

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China Edition
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Bleu
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Centenaire
Nissan 370Z Optional Parts
Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro – TDU2 Inuit Edition

all of them 80 points = 400 points = 5$US

And more importantly,

TDU2 Casino Online (800 points, 10$US)

The casino is already part of the vanilla game. You can tell when you drive around because you'll see a casino in Ibiza and Hawaii, already there without having purchased it. But if you try to enter you'll get presented with a message that you need to purchase that DLC. If you purchased it:

All in all (after a time of countless bugs and a couple of weeks fixing them) it is a great mod. There are really a lot of players who own this particular DLC. The player level cap is increased from 60 to 70, all categories such as social and collection etc are the same but related to the DLC.

The casino is located on that small isle players who played TDU1 and know about the easter egg Eden Games hid on top of a mountain, a teleporter, will remember, it is near the N/E corner of Hawaii. Now I know why the teleporter has gone.

Entering the casino from either Ibiza or Hawaii initiates a nice little film or scripted animation during which you can see your character walk around on a pier with random AI people and then board a hydroplane. You'll get to see a couple of nice sequences showing landscape and all (beautiful) and how you finally arrive at the isle and then you'll be welcomed to the casino.

The Casino is a massive complex like a hotel perhaps, comprised of several rooms and halls. Each one is dedicated to a specific type of game. You can play various types of poker and participate in a poker tournament against other players. Then there is roulette and a couple of slot machines. A clothes shop and two cars which you can either win or buy complete the set.

It is a lot of fun and I just had to get it because most of my online "friends" used to be unavailable because I wasn't able to join them in the casino without purchasing the DLC first. And the casino is basically the only way to make a LOT of money so you can afford more cars and houses and yachts and all that.

The best bit in my opinion is the poker play.. man, I've spent hours playing poker and tournaments together with other players  :) :-X

Interesting DLC content, Art. Online gambling isn't something I would have associated with a driving game! Luckily there's a clothing shop there - if you lose your shirt playing poker, you can immediately go and buy another one :-()

Art Blade

Hehehe  :-()

The poker tournaments are interesting. You can't re-buy which means all 10 players at the tournament table start with an identical amount of credits and if you run out of money you're eliminated from that tournament. There are four tournament stages, ranging from level one to four, if you win or end in the top you'll advance, else you go back one level or may keep it unlocked for another try. At the casino bar you can order "surprise cocktails" - if you have a cherry in your glass after drinking up you won. Depending on the price of a cocktail (50, 200, 500, 1000cr) you may win a free ticket to a corresponding tournament level. That's why you always see people at the bar drinking themselves senseless just to win a free ticket for a tournament. :-D

Buy-in at level 1 is 100,000 and level 4 is 2,000,000 casino credits which by the way are worth twice as much as the game currency outside the dlc, so you will have to change money back and forth to use it in the game).

Well, 2m casino credits to start a lvl4 tournament is something. And players there usually know how to play and don't go "all-in" all the times because one misplaced bet and you're out.

Yesterday I won my first level 4 tournament, yay  >:D

For some reason that struck me as really funny ^+-+ Maybe it's the idea of them boozing themselves stupid for a cherry and then falling on the floor and passing out before they reach the tournament table...

Very nice DL autos there :cool :-X

hehe, it is funny of sorts. Imagine the casino is built around a big circle (hall) at one end of which you'll see the main entrance and opposite of that is the bar. Left and right of the bar are stairs leading to the poker halls and other rooms. So when you enter the casino you'll be looking at the bar at the far end of the rotunda and usually there are people standing around there. When you get closer you'll hear gulping sounds of those who are drinking (in one swig) their ordered cocktails. Sometimes you'll hear a "blingblingbling" (someone found a cherry in his cocktail glass which means winning a free ticket to one of the tournament levels) followed by a brief victory dance of the lucky one. Then you'll see people who smack their fists or turn away in disgust -- thankfully you don't hear the bartender go "no luck this time" as that might cause some people to kill themselves as it is really annoying to keep hearing that one line.

Typically during a tournament (can take place at any time given there are enough players at the tournament table, 10 needed) you'll see all those guys and girls who have just been kicked out go straight to the bar and order drinks to get a new entry for another round. :)

Oh, on top of the DLC store across the yellow bar there is a Pagani Zonda Cinque, my favourite car. :)
