Borderlands two a long time away

Somebody claimed to have been working on HUD development for Borderlands 2, below is Gearboxes very thorough response, denying the existance of B2, other than they are wondering what to do for B2.

When you consider the amount of quality DLC they have released, it is kinda hard to see what more they can do withe the franchies, but all we can do is hope for the best :(

That's all to be expected, Borderlands has quickly become the flagship franchise for Gearbox, so they're going to keep a tight lid on it.  It's even less surprising when you consider that they're still wrapping up Duke Nukem Forever, a release that has all eyes of the gaming industry on them to see if they can deliver the goods.  Fortunately, a lot of these "resume leaks" seem to preceed actual info, and given their history for "unconventional" marketing tactics . . . well, who knows what we're going to see!  Pitchford seemed to spend so much time denying it that I almost don't buy it.  As far as the actual content, the last DLC heavily hinted that we'll be moving off of Pandora at some point in the future, so again, as with so many other releases we're anticipating right now, we'll have to wait and see  :D

By the way, DNF (Duke Nukem Forever) in Formula One and maybe other racing sports stands for "Did Not Finish"  ^+-+
