[admin]I just had to cut the loooooong "ohboys" line because it overextended itself WAY beyond the borders of the board rendering the entire topic a mess (needed to scroll sideways a lot). Now we're back in shape :)[/admin]

I just got a sneak peak at the MP part of BF3 from the E3 show and my reaction was :o. The game is goind to be released an Oct. 25 2011 with the open beta starting in september. Now I really need to find out who I need to kill in order to get myself a betakey >:D

Are those taken using your old graphics card nexor? Does it mean the gfx in this game will look even better?

picked this up and enjoyed some time in MP this past weekend. In fact I picked up 2 copies (good coupon deals at Kmart and Amazon for this game) so my son and I were on the battlefield together for a few hours. Hilarious as I see him screaming overhead in a jet. I found out he's a pretty good chopper pilot as well! We also had some good stomach aching laughs. I know it's "war" and lots of people play seriously but there's so many "holy crap that was awesome" moments that are actually quite funny too. We do allright point-wise, we're not just screwing around mind you. Playing online together is so much fun.

I envey you spaceboy, never played MP it's a major server problem attempting it from SA, I tried with BFBC2 and gave up after a few hours, so enjoy it my friend, I will get back into SP as soon as I've sorted my PC

thanks nexor, and yes I am very thankful for what I have been able to setup. The times my son and I have been online together are priceless. MP is fun in itself of course too. I am quite lucky and I do appreciate it. Hopefully you can get online at some point, but thankfully devs still put out great SP games.

especially when residing in sunny South Africa, there's just not enough servers around to accomodate all the people wanting to go online......... :(

I remember how JRD told us about Games for Windows Life: Entire Brazil was (still is?) excluded. Even if you had the internet connections, you just couldn't play.

It's sad that some of us (including myself) take things for granted that others are unable to get, for whatever reasons. I wish we all had the same good chances, conditions, opportunities, you know what I mean. Pity that our world is still divided into those who have and those who haven't. :(
