Music Video: Far Cry 2 / Bring It On

Ok, time to party and celebrate our new sight.  This one is to Bring It On by Lenny Kravitz.

I was inspired by MadCat1968's speedy videos to try the other way around (slow motion)

Amazing how slo mo and music can make some less than stellar gameplay look cool.  ;)

Also for those first aid animation fans, watch how two times near death, I slice a guy with my machete and then calmly pull a slug from my leg while he squirms, reaching for his gun, awaiting my final blow.

Jesus, you're a MEAN guy! Didn't seem to bother you at all when you unloaded your two-barreled gun and missed, while taking damage... do you like them to think they still have a chance? LOL Btw, it was indeed funny when you pulled out the first bullet while that poor sod had to watch and cringed on the floor... NICE vid! MORE! hehe

Uh, those weren't misses I was trying to show the physics engine of bullets hitting dirt , uh yeah, that's it.. :-[   

Seriously the slo mo is what makes it look cool.  tbh, I died twice before making it through like that once for the video.  :P

You can see I snipe a few out of the mix normally because my up close aim leaves little to be desired.  The machete is my friend.

I just love the bullets hitting the walls, the grenade blowing up and sending a guy away and, most of all, how they the two shotgun rounds in the chest and spill blood hahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhsdaçoshgouht9ertyyyfosf.

hahaha,  thanks JRD!  You'd almost think I timed it a couple of times but I didn't, it just worked out.  I did like the grenades going off just when Lenny screams "It's gettin' heavy!"  and the guitar solo during the first aid animation.  I wish I could take credit, but it just played out that way.  What fun. What fun.

Spaceboy, I know that physics engine test only too well myself. I am just back from a game, and I had one guy very close in front of me. I was about to knock his block off with bare fists because I fired eight rounds at him (attempted headshots) and they all missed. When I needed to reload, he went mental on me, that %&@#µ! So no worries there matey :) Also, it is well known that when trying to act extra cool, one usually cocks up things really bad, especially when recording... The thing I like about vids like that is to see that it's not only me, and I think it takes courage to show any recording (how will the crowd react). I hope you keep having fun and continue to let us share that fun :) Great w@&k with the music, and cool idea using slomo :)

Thanks for the nice comments Art Blade, well I hope no one fears backlash from this respectable group from poor gameplay to "stupid" questions or anything.  I miss so much up close which is why I've adapted so well to the run up and slash with the machete - it buys you a second to breathe.  Anyway where's the fun in perfection, right - makes it more fun half the time to be fighting for your life.
