Respawning Golden AK47

If you want the Golden AK47's to respawn, the value you need to change is in 28_pickups.xml
Find Weapons.AK47_new.AK47_Gold
Change fRespawnTime to 0.1
It will respawn like the weapons in your armoury  ;)  so no need to stash one in a weapon crate

How to make your buddies and the mercs WIELD the gold AK47:
Go in the gamemodesconfig.xml, browse down until you find the <pack name="buddy">. You will see a weapon section that defines the ARs. Replace any of the weapon names with "AK47.AK47_Gold". Save, re-patch, start a game, get downed. You should then see your buddy wielding a GOLD AK47 :-(). I re-armed my buddies with the USAS12, AS50 and more  >:D
