Gun Dealer's Erase the Competition

So I was wandering about playing with the diamond finder and getting some good results when I thought I could speed up filling my nest egg carton with  doing a mission for one of gun shop guys.  I checked the GPS and saw there was an opportunity  from the guy north of Crash Site.  I drove on over in the newly aquired Grenade A/truck to hear the proposition.
   He wanted some other gun runner put permanently out of business along with the shoddy equipment he was pedalling.  Ok. says I. I'll do it. The owner informs me the guy is in a convoy to the west near the resort, known as Ranger Station.  That I think should be easy as there's lotsa places for an ambush there.  Iwould use a way I haven't tried much before..ED's.  I mean I.E.Ds. I go into the store house and give up McMac for  some Eds.  I hope this works out as all I have is Duke  and Peter.  For me that's like paying for the first round of beer.  Into the Grenade truck..I'd like to call it Gary but people would hiss me. 
  I go back to the Bus station and take a long leisurely ride to the station south of Weelegol. From there I grab the buggy and drive up to the  Safehouse just outside of the village.  I grab my .50 cal truck and continure up the West side to try to come in from the West right near the Ranger  Station. The GPS shows the convoy  has gone through and would be awhile before it gets here.   I home in on the cell tower  behind the g/p where I plan to start the ambush.
   I park a bit back an sneak up to the hill behind and wests of the g/p an settle in for some sport shooting..fish in a barrel.  I snipe two mercs near an a/t before they can get under cover and the third and last as he is trying to locate me and kill me. The jeep that comes near the g/p  is coming down the road and  I pop the driver  so I can have time to do my stuff.
  i go down to where the road from the north is just  widening out and place an ED there just  at the narrows. I run up to the sheltered area and kick the big gas drum and another out into the road to create a roadblock of sorts.  Now if this all goes to plan I've got a deal on better weaponry .
   As I run up to the hill and under the tree there I get out my little remote and wait for the convoy. In about a minute here it comes seemingly without a care in the world.  I wait until the lead a/t passes, then the truck and then the last escort.  OH MAN..THEY'RE RIGHT OVER THE ED. The lead has stopped because of the barrel and I say a silent "fire in the hole" and press that button.
  KABOOM, WHOOSH as the last a/t flies up into the air..and lands on the truck.  BLAMMM as it blows up and launches itself unto the first a/t whch blows up along with the barrel.  OH WHAT FUN.!!! OH WHAT FIREWORKS!!!!!
I thought I'd have to heal the singed hair with all that BEAUTIFUL FIRE which also spreads to the grass.  Complete
kill and mission.
  Well that was an easy one.  I'll hafta mention my success with ED's to JRD as I got some ideas from the man.
  Guess I'll head on out and see what mischief I can get into to now.
